About Us

Master Anwarr Thompson ( Founder) has studied and trained in the Martial Arts for 41 years. He has taught Self Defense for 28 years. He is a Seventh Dan Master Instructor. He is well known for his work with children over the last 29 years; as site coordinator, and Youth Care Advocate for the Old Colony Y.M.C.A, camp counselor, and has worked with children and adults with special needs, and at risk youth.  ​

Our mission is to provide expert training in practical self-defense and personal protection through the disciplines of Kickboxing, MMA, and the art of Esgrima. We are committed to developing strong, capable individuals—mentally, physically, and spiritually—by emphasizing real-world skills, disciplined training, and personal growth.
We aim to preserve and promote Lucayos Esgrima as both a martial art and a sport, and to strengthen our community by instilling values of discipline, courage, and character in every student we teach.
